Job summary

WR Engineering in Bristol is seeking an Electrical Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer to join a two-person team delivering installation, commissioning and servicing of pumping equipment across the South West. You will travel nationwide as needed, with travel and accommodation fully covered.

The role primarily covers central England with flexibility for nationwide travel; you will work alongside a Mechanical Engineer, install and service pumping systems, and produce site reports while

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification required (17th/18th Edition / BS (Apply online only) Test & Inspection).
• Experience in a similar electrical or maintenance role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping systems.
• Provide electrical support to a Mechanical Engineer on-site.
• Attend sites across the UK, primarily Wales & Southwest.
• Complete site reports and documentation accurately.
• Support breakdown and aftersales service activities when required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with procedures.
• Maintain tools, materials, and equipment readiness.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Salary: £40,000 with OTE £55,000 +

My client is looking for an Electrical Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer. You Will be working alongside a Mechanical Engineer as part of a two-person team delivering installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping equipment covering the South West with potential for travel across the UK.

The role will primarily cover central England; however, candidates must be flexible and willing to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when required. All travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered.
