Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician to create and update 2D electrical drawings, manage CAD data, and support junior engineers. This role offers a salary of £29k plus overtime, with benefits including 25 days holiday, a pension scheme, and training opportunities. The position will be hybrid after an initial settling in period, located in Stone, England.

Qualifications

  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical (2018 or later) required.
  • Ability to read schematics is essential.
  • Competence in Excel and Microsoft Office is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update 2D electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical 2018.
  • Produce schematics, panel layouts, and reusable circuits.
  • Manage CAD data through Autodesk Vault.
  • Run reports and verify design accuracy.
  • Support standardisation and mentor junior engineers.

Skills

Strong AutoCAD Electrical skills (2018 or later)
Ability to read and create schematics
Good Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge

  • Creating and updating 2D electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical 2018
  • Producing schematics, panel layouts, and reusable circuits
