Location: Near Stowmarket, Suffolk

Salary: £43,000‑£55,000 + Benefits & Bonus

My client seeks an CAD Design Engineer to take a key role in developing electrical schematics, control panels and wiring systems. This role offers technical variety, hands‑on collaboration with manufacturing teams, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and product innovation.

What you’ll do
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts & wiring diagrams in EPLAN Pro Panel, Training is provided to get you up to speed
  • Produce project documentation (BOMs, cable schedules, terminal plans)
  • Work closely with project managers & cross‑functional teams
  • Support manufacturing with technical input & design queries
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC/UL/EN)
  • Participate in design reviews & improvement initiatives
What you’ll bring
