Electrical Business Development Manager

An electrical contractor specializing in full installations and temporary electrical site services. Well established for over 40 years, they have depots nationwide and now seek an Electrical Business Development Manager to expand their services within Construction Contractors. The role is based in Liverpool/North Wales, covering the North West of England.

They are a successful company working with prominent construction contractors such as Mace, Skanska, Kier, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with senior buyers, commercial managers, quantity surveyors, and contracts managers within medium to large construction contractors.
• Organize and follow up on leads to generate new business.
• Manage existing accounts with tier 1 contractors.
• Understand how a building site operates and have good knowledge of selling into them, particularly temporary site services or hire solutions into construction contractors.
• Sell temporary site electrics to tier 1 contractors and build long-lasting business relationships.

Qualifications

• Reside within a commutable distance of Liverpool.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
• Proven sales experience within construction or electrics.
• Experience in selling into main contractors.
• Background in temporary site services or hire solutions into construction contractors is advantageous.

Compensation

Basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000 plus 10% bonus and car allowance.
