Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Shifts

Location: Buckinghamshire area

Contract Type: Permanent

Industry: Global Manufacturer

Our client is a large Global manufacturer with a global footprint. It is an established site with an established engineering. Training, development, and support is provided on a manufacturing site. You will help the site make high-quality manufactured products. Key Responsibilities
  • Providing effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production
  • Ensuring the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment
  • Planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum
  • Working with conveyor systems, PLC systems, motors and controls
  • Leading electrical and instrumentation, repair, and working with a CMMS
  • Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes
  • Implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance
  • Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering
  • Manufacturing Industry experience, heavy, medium or FMCG environments considered
  • Routine Preventative Maintenance so an understanding of a PPM schedule
  • Finding and fixing faults quickly and effectively
  • A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
