Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join a specialist technology installation business delivering bespoke AV, lighting, visual and control system installations across the UK.

The role offers a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 DOE plus overtime, with opportunities to develop into a lead electrical engineer. Extensive UK travel and site-based work are expected.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with commercial installation experience.
• Experience inspecting and testing electrical installations.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical infrastructure for AV, lighting and visual systems.
• Install containment, tray, basket, conduit and trunking.
• Run, terminate and test power and data cabling.
• Install distribution equipment and electrical supplies for AV systems.
• Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations.
• Complete relevant electrical certification and sign off works when required.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Installation Engineers to deliver projects safely.
• Support commissioning and system testing as needed.
• Maintain accurate site documentation.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Travel across the UK and stay away during the week when required.
