Electrical Supervisor – LVAP

Location: Bournemouth

Rate: £425 per day – Outside IR35/LTD Company

Duration: 12+ months

Sector: Water / Wastewater

Our client, a leading contractor, is looking for an Electrical AP / Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical delivery works on a major clean water project near Bournemouth.

This is a great opportunity to join a contractor that has secured significant AMP7 & AMP8 contracts on the Bournemouth Water Framework.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the appointed LV Authorised Person (AP) for site electrical systems.
  • Carry out and manage isolations, switching, and lock-off procedures to ensure a safe system of work.
  • Issue, manage, and cancel electrical Permits-to-Work/Permits-to-Test.
  • Maintain accurate records of isolations, switching schedules, and permits in line with company and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations and internal safety rules.
  • Assess electrical risks and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and contractors to ensure all works are coordinated and safely delivered.

  • Must have water or wastewater industry experience
  • SMSTS / SSSTS
  • Experience writing method statements, risk assessments and H&S
  • Hold or have held AP status in last 2 roles
  • Hold a valid full UK driving licence
