Job summary

A B Graphic International Ltd (ABG) is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our Production team in Bridlington. You will support electrical assembly of our specialist machinery, building and wiring control panels, backplates and cables to drawings and quality standards.

You'll work with Production and Engineering colleagues to ensure efficient build, identify and resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, including 5S and lean practices.

Qualifications

• Must have practical experience in electrical fitting and wiring from drawings.
• Experience working from electrical drawings is preferred.
• Formal qualifications are not essential if you have relevant hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical control panels, backplates and cables in line with drawings and specs.
• Carry out electrical assembly, installation and wiring modifications during the build process.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to ensure correct assembly and installation.
• Identify potential electrical design or assembly issues and work with colleagues to resolve them.
• Ensure all electrical work meets ABG quality standards and safety requirements.
• Support continuous improvement activities (5S/lean) to improve efficiency and quality.
