A global standards organization in Burton on the Wolds is seeking a Test Engineer to evaluate and test electrical products for safety and compliance. This role involves conducting tests, producing reports, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have an electrical or electronics qualification and experience with test equipment. The role of a test engineer involves working to evaluate and test products primarily for safety, efficiency, fit for purpose or for bespoke customer requirements. You will be ensuring products successfully pass testing, providing confidence that products are up to the required standard, and allowing market distribution of certified products for our global clients. As a test engineer with BSI, your role will involve carrying out test work on a defined range of electrical & electronic products to agreed quality, standards, and timescales. Upon completion of test work, you'll need to write up clear, accurate and complete test reports.
