Pioneer Selection is recruiting an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor in Erith. You will lead a team to supervise electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities, ensuring plant reliability, safety, and performance on site.

The role requires hands-on supervision of planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a heavy industrial environment, with strong fault-finding and PLC/instrumentation knowledge. On-site role offering a stable company and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Electrical and instrumentation maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience supervising planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and breakdown response while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and support the site maintenance programme to ensure plant reliability, safety and performance across the site.
• Supervise electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities and coordinate with contractors.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to work for a blue‑chip industrial manufacturing company within the heavy industrial engineering sector. The Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor will join an experienced engineering team to lead and support the site maintenance programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities, ensuring plant reliability, safety, and performance across the site.

Responsibilities

The Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor will oversee planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and breakdown response while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Apprentice Trained / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience working within the UK manufacturing sector.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within heavy industry.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and permit‑to‑work systems.
