Job description
Electrical Duties
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems (motors, MCCs, switchgear, transformers)
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults using multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Perform calibration and testing of protective relays
  • Inspect and maintain power distribution equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance (IR scanning, insulation resistance tests)
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E, NEC, etc.)
Instrumentation Duties
  • Install and maintain field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature transmitters)
  • Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate process measurements
  • Troubleshoot PLC / DCS control loops and instrumentation communication issues
  • Maintain valves and actuators (control valves, positioners, solenoids)
  • Configure and test programmable instruments (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, etc.)
  • Perform loop checks during commissioning and shutdowns

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and hold driving license
