Overview

Do you have experience of E-mobility and a passion for sustainable energy?

We are recruiting for an EV Consultant to join our New eTruck team on a full time permanent basis as we make the transition into electric vehicles.

Although our Head Office is in Swindon, we work in an agile way and you will have the flexibility to manage your time and location of work accordingly.

The purpose of this role is to develop the (BEV) Battery Electric Vehicle business portfolio within the Retail Sales Sector for MAN T&B UK Ltd in line with the pre-set annual objectives, unit volume targets and financial margin expectations via direct consultation with transport operators within a pre-determined sales area.

Responsibilities
  • To manage and develop an agreed portfolio of BEV accounts from our existing and conquest retail business customer lists in alignment with our regional New Truck Sales colleagues.
  • To consult the customer, performing necessary feasibility study (mission profile) and to formulate the vehicle specification.
  • To be able to understand, keep well-informed of any updates and explain both the EV product range and infrastructure requirement needed to successfully operate a zero emission transport solution to our customers.
  • To support and manage any customer or authority purchase tender process or colleague to ensure compliance is within MAN T&B guidelines at all times.
  • To assist our Retail Sales Colleagues develop their own knowledge of Electric Vehicle Sales via direct customer consultation.
  • To develop strong relationships with all key personnel across the business related to your position.
Requirements
  • Experience or a knowledge of BEV technology and the UK infrastructure.
  • Be self-motivated and able to manage your own work diary.
  • Be a confident communicator to all business levels.
  • Understand funding methods for products through partner relationships
  • Have the ability to understand and use the sales systems
  • Be a highly professional presenter.
  • Understand the customer needs and fulfil those requirements at all times.
  • We are looking for someone with a full driving licence.
