Are you a skilled Defendant EL/PL Fee Earner with at least 2 years' experience managing your own caseload? We’re working in partnership with a top‑tier national firm looking to expand its Bradford office, offering an exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing litigation team.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance to join a firm renowned for its defendant personal injury expertise, particularly within the retail and insurance sectors. The role involves managing a broad range of litigated and some pre‑litigated EL/PL matters, from inception through to trial, with full support from senior colleagues and a modern case‑management system.

Role Highlights

• Run a varied caseload of EL/PL defendant claims, primarily for retail clients
• Handle files from commencement of litigation through to trial, with some pre‑litigation involvement
• Provide clear advice and recommendations on liability and quantum
• Ensure delivery of exceptional client service in an efficient, cost‑effective manner
• Work as part of a collaborative, well‑structured team with supportive supervision
• Keep abreast of legal and procedural developments, including changes in case law and relevant legislation

About You

• 2+ years' experience as a Defendant EL/PL Fee Earner (Claimant experience also considered)
• Strong litigation skills and confident managing files independently
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to file handling
• Familiarity with case management systems preferred
