Browne Group is a UK contractor delivering MEICA and related engineering services across water, wastewater and civil infrastructure. The EICA Design Engineer will contribute to electrical, instrumentation, control and automation designs for a diverse project portfolio.

The role involves developing high-quality designs, producing specs and drawings, ensuring standards compliance, and supporting projects through lifecycle stages within a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in EICA design within water, utilities, industrial, energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems.
  • Ability to develop practical engineering solutions and resolve technical challenges.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality EICA designs meeting client requirements and project objectives.

  • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Job description

Ready to play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions for critical infrastructure projects? We are seeking an experienced and motivated EICA Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of electrical, instrumentation, control and automation designs across a diverse project portfolio.

As an EICA Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality engineering designs that meet client requirements and project objectives. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will produce technical documentation, specifications, calculations and drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations and best practice. You will provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, helping to identify and resolve design challenges while contributing to the safe, efficient and successful delivery of projects.

Qualifications
  • Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and health and safety requirements
  • Experience producing technical specifications, calculations and engineering drawings
  • Professional membership or working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status is desirable
