We'll give you the support, training, and progression to grow your career while making a real impact on the future of the UK's power network.

We are delivering a major new National Grid substation near Bridgend, supporting the UK's drive to upgrade and strengthen the national energy network. This is a technically complex, high‑profile project and we're looking for someone with the leadership, technical understanding, and drive to see it through from mobilisation to completion.

If you're looking for a career-defining role in the power sector with a company that's shaping the future of UK infrastructure this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the main point of contact for National Grid, managing relationships and ensuring seamless delivery
  • Oversee project planning, budgets, schedules, and risk management
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team including engineers, commercial, and delivery staff
  • Drive excellence in safety, quality, programme, and cost performance
  • Lead NEC contract administration and change management
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders including subcontractors, local authorities, and the community
  • Champion a safety-first, solutions-driven culture across the project team
What We're Looking For
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
  • Proven experience delivering EHV projects (132kV and above)
  • Background working on National Grid or DNO substation schemes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Confident in NEC contract management and commercial oversight
