Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of Spirax Group, is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for our Havant site in the UK. You will lead health, safety, and sustainability initiatives, drive compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our sites.

The role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and a proven track record in EHS management within manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in EHS or NVQ Level 7.
• NEBOSH diploma completed.
• Leadership and management diploma (desirable).
• Experience leading audits, risk assessments and compliance.

• Best Practices: Develop and deploy best practices for EHS and Sustainability, manage sustainability frameworks, and optimise performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Departmental Management: Provide leadership, develop annual plans, manage budgets, and ensure high performance in EHS, Facilities, and Sustainability departments.

Role Summary
The EHS Manager plays a crucial role in guiding our Health, Safety, and Sustainability initiatives. Your leadership will be vital in driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across all our sites. This position is key to building a culture of safety and sustainability, ensuring we meet our legal, financial, and moral obligations.


What you’ll be doing

Who you will be working with
You will be a proactive member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), collaborating with various departments and external contractors. You will work closely with sustainability leaders, local teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and drive strategic development across all areas of responsibility.

Your key objective will be to cultivate a Health and Safety culture that promotes zero accidents and incidents, while maximising social impact and minimising environmental impact through effective sustainability practices.

The successful candidate will always consider the safety and wellbeing ofothers. They will look to buildrelationships across the business,workingcollaboratively, sharingexpertise and helpingothers. They will seek excellence in all they do, and operate with integrity and respect whilst always putting the customer first.

Skills/Experience:

This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role

• Experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in leading and implementing best-practice EHS processes, conducting audits, risk assessments, and managing projects within an industry environment (manufacturing environment desirable, but not essential).
• Experience of working at SLT level driving the EHS strategy
• Educated to degree level in EHS or equivalent NVQ Level 7
• Valid qualification in occupational Health and Safety e.g. BSc/BA in Safety management, NEBOSH diploma.
• Achieved a diploma or above in Leadership and Management (desirable)
