Job summary

Primark in the United Kingdom is seeking an in-store EHS & Operations Manager to create a secure environment for customers and colleagues. You will lead fire safety, audits, incidents, and contractor relationships while driving energy, waste and chemical management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experienced Operations professional with at least 3 years of management.
• NEBOSH qualification or willingness to work towards gaining them.
• Keen eye for detail spotting potential hazards before they arise.
• Strong influencing and communication skills to engage at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor fire safety, asbestos management, and water system maintenance.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and elevate actions as needed.
• Review accidents and implement preventative measures.
• Manage relationships with security and 3rd party contractors.
• Implement environmental initiatives in energy, waste and chemical management.
• Lead a small team and collaborate with store management to drive operational excellence.
• Promote a culture of Safe Today, Safe Tomorrow through EHS policies and proactive coaching.
• Pursue digital learning and career pathways to grow within the company.
