R&D Partners is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee and enhance workplace safety, environmental compliance, and employee wellbeing at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead EHS initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices. This position also includes responsibility for site security operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement workplace safety and environmental programs to reduce risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with teams across departments to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
  • Develop and mentor EHS staff to strengthen technical and leadership skills.
  • Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Manage audits, inspections, and compliance reporting for environmental and safety standards.
  • Oversee security operations, including access control and emergency response.
  • Maintain accurate records for waste management, energy tracking, and legal compliance submissions.
  • Support occupational health and wellbeing programs aligned with risk assessments.
Key Skills and Requirements
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturing or another regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Professional safety qualification such as NEBOS
