Are you an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety professional looking to make a real impact? We're seeking a proactive and knowledgeable EHS Advisor to lead on all aspects of environmental, health and safety within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape and embed a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with UK legislation, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on all EHS activities, ensuring compliance with relevant UK legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Deliver engaging EHS training programs to promote awareness and best practice across the workforce.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and driving long‑term solutions.
  • Manage waste, emissions, and environmental responsibilities, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting performance and compliance to senior stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovative approaches to health, safety, and environmental management.
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent professional qualification (highly desirable).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in EHS management within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Skilled in problem‑solving, risk management, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Confident communicator able to engage and train colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficient in EHS management systems and reporting.
  • Independent, proactive, and detail‑focused, with excellent organisational skills.
