EHR Systems Administrator

EHR Systems Administrator - Band 5 - Full Time - Permanent

To provide comprehensive second-line support and configuration expertise for the Trust's Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, primarily SystmOne. This includes taking ownership of specific technical domains within the system, undertaking complex troubleshooting, performing system administration tasks, and leading upgrade testing cycles.

The postholder is expected to act with a high degree of autonomy within defined guidelines, serving as a subject matter expert and escalating only when issues fall outside of their remit.

The role is primarily office-based with extended periods of computer use and occasional travel to Trust sites for training, support, or stakeholder engagement.

Proposed Interview/Assessment Date - 13th and 14th November

The postholder will actively contribute to service improvement, support the development and delivery of training, and participate in the creation and maintenance of documentation and procedures. They are also expected to uphold information governance and confidentiality standards and engage in continuous professional development.

Qualifications
  • Degree Level education or 2 years recent experience in a support environment
Experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and practical experience in supporting multiple software applications across a wide range of technologies
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and be responsive to user requests and handle their expectations with patience and understanding
  • In-depth working knowledge or experience of EHR systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in advanced troubleshooting autonomously, configuration, and user support managing own workload
  • Registration Authority experience, background in knowledge of smartcard roles and adding access.
  • Experience contributing to the creation of SOPs, training materials, or user guides
