A leading health care organization in the UK is seeking a technical support expert to provide second-line support for EHR systems, primarily SystmOne. This role involves troubleshooting, system administration, and contributing to training and documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in EHR systems and a commitment to continuous professional development.
To provide comprehensive second-line support and configuration expertise for the Trust's Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, primarily SystmOne. This includes taking ownership of specific technical domains within the system, undertaking complex troubleshooting, performing system administration tasks, and leading upgrade testing cycles. The postholder is expected to act with a high degree of autonomy within defined guidelines, serving as a subject matter expert and escalating only when issues fall outside of their remit. The role is primarily office-based with extended periods of computer use and occasional travel to Trust sites for training, support, or stakeholder engagement. The postholder will actively contribute to service improvement, support the development and delivery of training, and participate in the creation and maintenance of documentation and procedures. They are also expected to uphold information governance and confidentiality standards and engage in continuous professional development.
