A reputable education provider in Swinton is seeking an EHCP Coordinator to coordinate support for learners with Education Health and Care Plans. Location: Rotherham
Salary: £25,716 (£20,850.81 pro-rata) a year + benefits
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part time (30 hours each week, all year round)

The primary function of this role is to coordinate the processes and procedures in line with RNN Group's duty for learners with Education Health and Care Plans studying within Group.
The role of EHCP Coordinator is critical to contribute and support curriculum to ensure learners are provided with the knowledge, skills and cultural capital they need to overcome social injustice, ensuring rich opportunities to develop learners' broader life skills and citizenship as outlined in the EHCP outcomes.

In addition to a sound knowledge of SEND, High Needs and a broad range of health & medical related issues, this role requires the postholder to possess a high level of professionalism, good verbal and written communication skills, an ability to accurately record information in a timely manner, empathy and flexibility to meet the needs of a variety of learners. You may also be the primary point of contact for learners and be required to work collaboratively with the wider college community to ensure that the Group meets its duty in terms of the SEND Code of Practice and Local Authority Graduated Response.
