Salary: £31,283
Location: Gun Wharf, with travel across Medway

The Role

As an Assessment Officer (EHC Coordinator), you'll be at the heart of Medway's SEND Assessment Hub. You'll lead on coordinating high-quality Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments and crafting clear, outcome-focused EHC Plans that truly reflect the aspirations and needs of each child or young person. What You'll Be Doing

• Developing accurate, high-quality EHC Plans based on multi-agency assessments.
• Driving the statutory 20-week process, ensuring timelines and legal duties are met.
• Supporting families, acting as a trusted first point of contact during the assessment journey.
• Coordinating professional advice from across education, health and social care.
• Ensuring rigorous data management, maintaining clear, transparent communication with all stakeholders.
• Championing Medway's values, promoting inclusion, safeguarding and positive outcomes for all young people.

What You'll Bring
