Job summary

A travel recruitment agency is seeking a Travel Sales Consultant to sell bespoke trips to Egypt and Morocco. The ideal candidate will have personal travel experience in these regions and strong sales and communication skills. This position offers a base salary of up to £38,000, with OTE of £50,000, along with great benefits including a bonus scheme, hybrid working, and up to 30 days of annual leave.

Egypt and Morocco Travel Sales Consultant

Base Salary to £38,000 OTE £50,000 + Great Benefits. Hybrid – South West London. Our client is an award-winning tour operator with a focus on high‑end travel, selling bespoke trips to Egypt and Morocco.

They are now seeking to recruit a North Africa and Middle East Travel Sales Consultant with extensive product knowledge of Egypt and Morocco. You must be well‑travellled, have a vested interest in the region, and be able to handle bookings from enquiry through to final documentation.

Our client would consider candidates who have travelled extensively within Egypt and Morocco and are keen to develop a career as a Travel Consultant. Presentation, communication skills, attention to detail, sales skills, and destination knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Dealing with client enquiries by phone and email.
  • Use your own previous experience and destination knowledge to establish the clients’ requirements and recommend the correct programme.
  • Creating and booking all aspects of travel including flight, private charters, hotels, tours, and more.
  • Working with the product team and assisting in the development of the North Africa & Middle East product portfolio.
Required experience
  • Previous sales experience within the travel industry is preferred but not essential.
  • First‑hand personal travel experience within Egypt and Morocco is essential.
  • Ability to develop rapport at all levels with clients.
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets whilst delivering high levels of customer service.
Salary and Benefits
  • Base Salary £30,000 to £38,000 based on experience.
  • Lucrative bonus scheme based on performance (OTE £50,000).
  • 23 days annual leave rising to 30 days for every year of full service + bank holidays.
