Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Material Handler in the United Kingdom to support warehouse operations at the loading bay. You will receive deliveries, unload goods and verify quantities against ASN/PO, then prepare items for storage within the warehouse management system.

The role emphasizes safety and accuracy to meet daily targets. You will also pick, pack and label orders, sort outbound shipments, and safely load vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations such as forklift driving, picking or dispatch.
• Ability to understand written and verbal procedures in English.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work alone or in a team.
• Flexible with shift patterns and able to work additional hours.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and returns from suppliers and customers at the loading bay.
• Load and unload items using manual handling equipment.
• Check quantity and quality against ASN or purchase orders.
• Prepare goods for storage and book into warehouse management system.
• Locate and store incoming goods in designated zones.
• Pick and assemble customer orders using RF terminals and picking lists.
• Prepare orders for delivery by packaging and labelling cartons and pallets.
• Sort orders into outbound routes on the dispatch bay.
• Safely load vehicles, carriers and own fleet according to loading sequence.
