Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group in the UK is seeking a reliable 7.5t driver to join our Ground Maintenance team in Bingham. You will deliver goods safely across locations, maintain accurate logs and support the transport operation. A valid UK driving licence and experience in delivery driving are essential.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am–16:30pm, with a pay rate of £13.50 per hour. Familiarity with route planning, GPS navigation, and safety regulations is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Proven driving experience in a delivery role.
• Familiarity with flatbed/box lorries is advantageous.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for commercial driving.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5-tonne flatbed or box lorry for scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
• Conduct pre-journey safety checks on the vehicle before each shift.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues.
• Adhere to road safety laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance reports and minor repairs if necessary.
