Job description

We have the opportunity for a Claims Adjuster to join our Claims department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting into the Head of Property Binders, you will assist the team to further develop the company’s market leading Property Binder claims offering, in order to contribute to the attraction and retention of profitable business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Service Delivery: Provide a first-class service to all customers through personal ownership and team efforts.
2. Claims Management: Manage claims from the delegated portfolio, including those beyond personal authority, either through personal handling or by collaborating with more experienced colleagues.
3. Client Relationships: Own nominated client relationships to ensure quality Claims services that support and develop business objectives.
4. Account Management: Handle Coverholder and TPA accounts.
5. Stakeholder Liaison: Work with Underwriters to ensure they are fully briefed on claims issues at an individual level.
6. Customer Outcomes: Ensure fair customer outcomes and maintain commerciality in decision-making, aligned with TMK values.
7. Risk Understanding: Have a clear understanding of the company's risk appetites regarding delegated authority, conduct, and financial crime.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have a background in general insurance within relevant business classes and territories, with in-depth knowledge of the London market, especially North American Binding Authorities. Understanding how Binding Authorities work and the relationships involved is beneficial. We seek a team player with analytical thinking and adaptability skills.
