Overview

A leading provider of ground support equipment (GSE) solutions is seeking a Country Manager to head up its UK operations from Manchester. If you’re a commercially savvy leader with strong experience in logistics, technical operations, or equipment services, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape and drive growth across the UK market.

This senior role offers full operational ownership, with a focus on customer satisfaction, commercial strategy, and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead order fulfilment, after-sales service, and project coordination across the UK.
  • Execute targeted sales and expansion strategies, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Oversee equipment logistics and workshop coordination to ensure timely service.
  • Support offer preparation and large-scale equipment projects.
  • Ensure KPIs, compliance, and cost-effective operations.
  • Act as a representative for the UK business unit in internal and external forums.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years' leadership experience in GSE, technical equipment, or fleet services.
  • Degree qualified – technical or commercial background .
  • Strong team leadership and customer engagement skills.
  • Proven experience in sales growth, operations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fluent in English; other European an advantage.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and eligible for UK Airport Passes.
  • Able to travel regularly across the UK with a flexible, hands-on approach.
