Our partner is an early stage company and they are looking for a senior full stack developer, Your role requires understanding and adapting to new technologies, leading project implementation, and guiding teams towards innovative solutions. You'll play a key role in evolving the tech landscape.


-> Spearhead and oversee the development of a state-of-the-art insights platform

-> Lead and mentor a team of developers

-> Write and maintain clean, efficient code, with a particular emphasis on robust backend development.

-> Work hand-in-hand with design and product teams to deliver high-quality, responsive applications.

-> Implement modern, responsive web designs using the latest in web technologies.

-> Integrate applications seamlessly with a variety of external APIs and data services.

-> Design, build, and manage complex databases, focusing on schema design and query optimisation.

-> Utilise cloud computing platforms to effectively scale applications to meet growing demands.

-> Diagnose and resolve backend and other technical issues, ensuring smooth operation and user experience.

-> Keep pace with emerging trends and advancements in both frontend and backend web development, applying this knowledge to continuously evolve our technology stack.

-> Uphold and advocate for high coding standards, participating in code reviews to promote a culture of excellence and sustainability in our codebase.


-> Strong proficiency in Next.js and Express.js with particular expertise in backend development.

-> Experience with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).

-> Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably GCP (AWS is also acceptable).

-> Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

-> Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

-> Skilled in data analytics and database setup.

-> Experience in an Agile development environment.

-> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-> Strong expertise in data visualisation technologies and libraries, such as D3.js or Chart.js, as the role involves creating a cutting-edge insights platform.

-> Strong commitment to quality, including experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.


-> Experience with Machine Learning: Useful for advanced data analysis and predictive features.

-> Background in Geospatial Data Processing: Beneficial for handling and interpreting location data.

-> Experience with CI/CD Pipelines: For efficient deployment and integration processes.

-> Previous Work in a Start-up Environment: Can be advantageous for adapting to the dynamic nature of the project.

-> Knowledge of Accessibility Standards: To ensure the app is usable by a wide range of users, including those with disabilities.
