Senior PR Manager - Contract

Start: ASAP

Rate: £375/day

Length: 24 Months contract

Location: London/Hybrid (1-2 days in London office)

This global fintech is looking for a Senior PR Manager to play a key role in the PR function of their UK operation supporting the strategy & execution to build the brand and drive awareness and consideration among all their users.

The Role:

  • Play a key role in the PR function in the UK supporting the strategy & execution to build the brand and drive awareness and consideration among all users.
  • Develop strategic media relationships and craft ownable, compelling PR stories for the business, brand, product innovations and customer experience.
  • Collaborate in the delivery of integrated media relations programmes that drive Top of Funnel awareness as well as Middle of Funnel impact to support both communications and marketing objectives.
  • Management and ownership of PR KPIs to measure business impact of external comms - working with web, social and influencer teams as well as agency partners.
  • Support in managing their PR agency of record to secure stories in top media outlets and influential sites and deliver standout campaign moments throughout the year.
  • Take a lead role in core PR activity with news announcements and development of product and technology innovation stories with customers and accounting partners at the heart.
  • Translate the brands stories into compelling content that engages external audiences.

Experience Needed:

· 10+ years of PR/communications experience either in-house and/or in agency.

· Prior ownership of external communications for, or on behalf, of a brand or business.

· Outstanding media relations skills and a proven track record in delivering impactful coverage for business brands. Solid understanding of media landscape and established media relationships.

· Excellent copywriting skills and experience in delivering customer-centric communications and case study content.

· Experience in developing and managing multi-channel, integrated communications programmes for brand, reputation and product launches, that deliver high-impact business results.

· Skilled verbal & visual storyteller across all media.

· Ability to crystalise business goals, metrics and financial data into powerful narratives.

· You are data-driven, innovative and take pride in your ability to work at speed.

· Passionate about testing new ideas to improve impact

· Successful PR agency management/agency experience and budget oversight experience.
