Job summary

Cyber UK is seeking a Security Architect to design and assure security architecture for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions in London, on-site. This 12-month contract requires active eDV clearance and hands-on cloud security expertise to translate requirements into practical designs and guides throughout delivery lifecycle.

• Senior cloud security architecture experience at SFIA Level 5/6 or equivalent.

• Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

About the client

Our client is delivering a complex, security-sensitive cloud programme within a highly regulated environment. You’ll have the chance to shape and assure security architecture for critical systems, working alongside experienced engineering, architecture and testing teams.

The role

As a Security Architect, you will develop and assure security architecture for solutions hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You’ll translate security requirements into practical designs, controls and implementation guidance, ensuring security is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define security architecture patterns and technical controls suitable for a high-assurance environment

Essential skills & experience

• Ability to define, lead or assure security testing activities
• Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

• Hands-on OCI security/architecture experience
• Knowledge of UK government Secure by Design principles and processes
• Background in government, defence, national security or similarly regulated environments
• Relevant cloud/cyber security architecture certifications
