Job summary

University of Bradford invites applications for Educator: Child Nursing - 2 Posts within the Faculty of Health and Social Care. These full-time, permanent appointments are offered on a pro rata basis for 0.5 post and for 1.0 WTE and 0.5 WTE, with salaries £35,608 to £38,784 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

  • Be an NMC registrant at either Nursing Associate or Registered nurse level.
  • Hold a relevant academic qualification consistent with NMC registration level i.e., Foundation degree /Degree.
  • Have current experience in nursing children and young people
  • Have experience of and understand the NMC standards of supervision and assessment (2023) applied to clinical practice.
  • Be a confident communicator, using a range of technology and media.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a programme team to develop and deliver excellent practical workshops and classroom lectures/ seminars.
  • Work with a programme team to support learners/ students to complete their assessments, in university and in clinical placement.
  • Work with a range of different people, within university, academic, professional teams and with employers to deliver aspects of the curriculum, support student success.
  • Work with a programme team, to ensure growth and maintenance of quality learning environments, either within the university or in relevant practice setting.
