Job summary

Diamond Wood Community Academy invites friendly, reliable individuals to join our nurturing team as Educational Teaching Assistants. You’ll support pupils’ wellbeing and learning, help with classroom routines and preparation, and contribute to a welcoming learning environment.

Hours are 18 per week during term time, with Wednesday–Friday full days, 8:30am–3:30pm. The role offers opportunities to work closely with teachers, families and the school community while upholding safeguarding and school

Qualifications

• Support pupil wellbeing and learning.
• Build positive professional relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Assist with classroom preparation and routines.
• Follow school policies and communicate effectively with the teaching team.
• Support learning activities and keep pupils engaged.
• Supervise pupils to ensure safety.
• Be flexible with school activities and visits.
• Support basic ICT and classroom resources.
• Take on routine administrative tasks as needed.

Educational Teaching Assistant - Diamond Wood Community Academy

Hours per week: 18 hours per week,Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – full days,8:30am-3:30pm

Weeks Per year:Term Time only

Contract type:Expected end date – August 31st, 2027. However, could end earlier depending on maternity leave end date.

Actual Salary:£10,430.56 to £10,596.10 per annum
