A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking a passionate Educational Psychologist to help shape a new Educational Psychology Service on the Isle of Wight. The role involves developing specialist skills in assessing and supporting children and young people with SEND, contributing to service planning, and strengthening educational strategies. Applicants should be HCPC-registered and possess strong interpersonal skills. A relocation package and travel allowance are available.
Location: Isle of Wight
Pay: £45,000 – £56,000 plus £8,000 relocation package available and travel allowance

You will join the founding team responsible for establishing our Educational Psychology Service and contributing to a range of strategic initiatives. Your work will include:
You will be a qualified, HCPC‑registered Educational Psychologist with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. You should be able to attend in‑person meetings when required and share our commitment to securing positive outcomes for children and young people across the Island.
As a new service, we are focused on building strong relationships with schools, partners, and council teams. We are seeking enthusiastic and innovative colleagues who value distributed leadership and want to play an active role in shaping a growing department.
Applicants should bring creativity, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for improving life chances, particularly for vulnerable or marginalised groups. An enhanced DBS check is required.
