Location: Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BE
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 2+ Months 29.60 hours per week
Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: £418.00 Per day

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support students' educational development.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to address learning and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to students to enhance their emotional and social well-being.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation as required by the council and educational authorities.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and practices in educational psychology.
Person Specifications
Must Have
  • Eligibility to work in the UK confirmed.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure valid for 12 months.
  • Relevant licenses, qualifications, or registrations legally required for the role.
  • Two written references.
  • National Insurance number checked.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with local councils or similar public sector organizations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with the educational system in Cheshire West and Chester.
