Job description

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Educational Psychologist to join a charity working across specialist schools in Cheshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining a Systemically focused MDT within a newly establish Psychology service. The post holder will used a trauma informed approach working with children and young people who present with neurodiverse presentations. The successful candidate will conduct psychological assessments, produce reports and provide advice and support to parents/carers, teachers and SENCOs.

Due to the service being in its infancy, this is an exciting opportunity for the post holder to help shape and contribute to service development.

Contract type – permanent and term time

Hours – both part time and full time is being considered.

Salary -£63,372 rising to £68,591 with biennial increments (This full-time equivalent salary will be pro-rated to term-time only £57,738 rising to £62,494)

Experience required:

Educational Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and due to the nature of the role, a car driver/owner is mandatory.
