Job summary

St Dominic’s School, Hambledon, is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to lead therapy provision across the waking day curriculum at a trusted, specialist setting. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to support pupils aged 7–19 with ASD and related needs.

The role requires HCPC registration, a Degree in Occupational Therapy, and a post-graduate Sensory Integration qualification, with experience using standardised and functional assessments. 36 hours per week, term-time only.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with licence to practice.
• Member of the College of Occupational Therapists.
• Member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Post-graduate qualification in Sensory Integration (Levels 1 & 2).
• Understanding of ASD, SLCN and related behaviours.
• Knowledge of standardised/functional assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Occupational Therapy provision across the waking day curriculum.
• Be accountable as a member of a multi-disciplinary team for pupil outcomes.
• Maintain and improve school standards in therapy provision.
• Ensure pupils have access to the full curriculum.
• Support pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Foster holistic development including functional life skills.
