Job summary

Kindred is seeking hardworking cleaners to join an educational building in Rugeley, with varied hours and a fixed shift pattern. You will perform general cleaning, deep-cleaning tasks, and ensure health and safety standards are met, including COSHH considerations.

The role emphasizes independent work with occasional teamwork, in a welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors. A DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions (including written) and work safely for periods of time on their own.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• Communicate in English.
• Able to follow shift patterns with fixed timings.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste.
• Replenishing soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
• Periodic deep-cleaning of carpets and floors.
• Using cleaning materials suitable for different surfaces and protecting equipment.
• Using cleaning equipment safely and storing it properly after use.
• Work independently to complete tasks on time and support colleagues when needed.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming environment in all areas.
