A forward-thinking educational institution in London seeks an Education Welfare Officer to enhance student outcomes and promote attendance. The role involves monitoring attendance, building relationships with students and families, and conducting home visits. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to improving student outcomes, supporting families, and promoting excellent attendance and engagement. You will be a key member of our pastoral team, working closely with another EWO, Attendance Officer, Pastoral Support Workers, SLT, and external agencies to ensure that every student is supported to thrive.

Experience working in a school or with young people is highly desirable, as is knowledge of attendance legislation, educational welfare, and strategies to promote engagement.
The working basis for this position Term Time + 1 week inset (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week).This is a school-based role and will include school-wide activities and meetings.
