Job description

Are you an organised and proactive individual looking to build a career in university administration? We're looking for a can-do team player to join our Education Support Team, providing essential administrative support for our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and is eager to learn. You'll play a key role in helping to keep our teaching and student support running smoothly - from coordinating student records and events to assisting with the introduction of new administrative processes.

You will work to ensure compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), creation and maintenance of course documentation, including course handbooks, lecture course synopses, reading lists and materials on Canvas (the Virtual Learning Environment). You will also work to communicate with internal support teams, i.e. Staff Immigration Office to support for visa-related processes, including monthly monitoring returns and supporting letters for visa extensions.

You will support the organisation of postgraduate and undergraduate events, such as student talks and induction activities.

We're committed to investing in your learning and development. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take the next step in your administrative career, you'll receive training, mentoring, and opportunities to develop the skills and experience needed to progress within the University.

If you're someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has great attention to detail, and thrives in a busy, friendly environment, we'd love to hear from you.
