Job summary

St Ninian's High School in the Isle of Man is seeking an Education Support Assistant to join the Progress Zone team. This term-time role supports students who need additional help, helping them build confidence and stay engaged in learning.

You will work closely with teachers to adapt resources, support behaviour and keep lessons moving. The Isle of Man Public Service offers development opportunities, flexible working where possible, and a range of staff benefits.

Job description

This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part time hours.

St Ninian's High School is looking for an Education Support Assistant to join the Progress Zone team. In this rewarding role, you'll work closely with students who need additional support, helping them build confidence, stay engaged in learning and feel fully included in school life.

You'll jump into lessons, adapt resources, support behaviour and keep learning moving - working closely with teachers to make every session count. It's a varied, fast-paced role where you stay proactive, think on your feet and play a key part in helping students overcome barriers and achieve more.
