Role Summary and Objectives

We are an education specialist recruitment business in need of a confident and experienced education Candidate Resourcer. You will work in partnership with our Liverpool Branch to build and maintain a candidate pipeline for three experienced consultants. This involves attracting candidates by drafting advertising copy for a wide range of media, networking, headhunting and referrals.

Further responsibilities include screening candidates, interviewing them, and conducting background checks before presenting them to consultants.

Maintaining a healthy candidate pool requires regular contact, providing advice on salary levels, training requirements, and career opportunities.

Core Responsibilities
  • Generate new candidates through advertising.
  • Generate new candidates through database management.
  • Screen and match candidates to suitable job roles.
  • Contact candidates to arrange interviews via various means and social media.
  • Administer vetting procedures.
  • Handle general queries regarding contracts and pay.
Tasks Expected
  • Build a candidate pipeline – attraction, selection and conversion.
  • Obtain candidates’ weekly availability.
  • Create bookings on the in‑house recruitment software.
  • Format CVs.
  • Sourcing candidates through various channels.
  • Support experienced consultants in filling bookings.
  • Conduct candidate interviews onsite and offsite.
  • Gather references.
  • Gain market knowledge.
Liaising With
  • Management team, marketing, compliance, payroll, HR and operations, accounts, clients, candidates, and external parties related to the company business.
