Job summary

The Education Network Birmingham is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Edgbaston team. You will manage and grow your own desk across Primary, Secondary or SEND, recruiting high-quality teachers and support staff for West Midlands schools.

Ideal candidates have recruitment or B2B experience, a commercial mindset, and strong communication and organisational skills. We offer uncapped commission, comprehensive training, and a supportive, community-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or B2B sales.
• Education recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential if you have worked in a fast-paced temporary recruitment setting.
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and growing a specialist recruitment desk across SEND, Secondary or Primary, depending on your experience.
• Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients and candidates.
• Recruiting and placing high-quality teachers, teaching assistants and support staff into schools across the West Midlands.
• Developing new business through networking, referrals and proactive business development.
• Managing accounts and delivering a high-quality, tailored recruitment service.
• Building a successful desk while representing The Education Network's values of transparency, integrity and community impact.
• Taking part in fundraising activities, giving back to schools, delivering food hampers, and making a positive impact in the local community.
