Our client within the education sector is seeking a Reception Administrator to provide a welcoming, efficient, and professional reception and administrative service, supporting the day-to-day operations of the school. You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external professionals, requiring discretion, initiative, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a courteous and efficient reception service, managing visitors and calls professionally.
  • Maintain pupil attendance records using SIMS and liaise with families and transport services.
  • Provide general clerical support including photocopying, scanning, emailing, and filing.
  • Assist with school communications including ParentMail, newsletters, and website updates.
  • Support the Head Teacher with weekly assembly presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Manage deliveries, stock levels of stationery, and maintain a tidy reception area.
  • Respond to school emails and direct queries appropriately.
  • Liaise with staff and external professionals to support family services and pupil needs.
  • Assist with reading reports and other administrative tasks as required.
