Job description

Location: Durham, DH1

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Start: As soon as compliance cleared

Contract: Temp to perm

We are looking for a proactive and organised Education Provision Administrator to join a specialist SEN setting in the Durham area. This is a full‑time role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with the opportunity to move from temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support across the provision, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Support staff with general office tasks and correspondence.
  • Assist with compliance and reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience is essential.
  • Experience working in an education or college environment is desirable.
  • Understanding of autism and SEN is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • DBS or willingness to apply for one.
