Turner & Townsend in London is seeking a Project Manager for our Real Estate team, focusing on education sector projects. You will deliver high-quality project management across feasibility to handover, leading live commissions and supporting major new builds in London.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate level professional qualification in project management (must be internationally recognised).
• Degree in a relevant field (preferable).
• Experience in Education projects, such as schools, universities, or research institutions.
• Strong contract administration skills, especially with NEC contracts.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to manage budgets and resources.
• Knowledge of UK Department for Education guidelines, funding mechanisms, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and secure resources for education-related projects or programmes, using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Lead and manage project teams and delegate tasks, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
• Identify and manage risks and issues, using effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Ensure projects stay on track and deliver on time and within budget, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
• Build, sustain and facilitate relationships with stakeholders in the education sector, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
• Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of education projects, using appropriate metrics and indicators.
• Evaluate the impact and benefits of education projects, using evidence-based methods and tools.
