A charitable organization in Birmingham seeks a Programme Coordinator to lead their Supported Internships programme. The role involves overseeing the delivery team, ensuring a positive environment for learners, and maintaining compliance with safeguarding requirements. Ideal candidates have experience in education or supported employment and strong leadership skills. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.
We’re recruiting on behalf of a fantastic charity who support young people with learning disabilities and/or autism — and they’re looking for a Programme Coordinator to help lead their Supported Internships programme across Birmingham. The office is near Snowhill Station, but you will be happy traveling to site locations in the West Mids (for example Hospitals or Retail stores where a lot of the projects are delivered).
You’ll be the person making sure the programme runs smoothly each day. Expect a mix of leading a brilliant delivery team, supporting learners, and building great relationships with families, employers, and local partners. And don’t worry — the charity already has a Curriculum Manager and Quality Manager handling the heavy academic/Ofsted stuff!
