Job summary

Lancashire County Council in Preston seeks an Education Partnership Officer to join the Education Improvement Service. You will lead locality partnerships across schools, settings, and partners to identify priorities and develop collaborative solutions for children and families.

You will coordinate the Team Around the School and Setting approach, act as the district contact for Experts at Hand, and translate local intelligence into practical action while supporting service development.

Qualifications

• Experience of partnership or multi-agency working
• Understanding of education, SEND, inclusion, early help or related children's services
• Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
• Ability to navigate complex systems and translate local intelligence into action

Responsibilities

• Leading and chairing Locality Groups and SEND Clusters to agree shared priorities, actions and outcomes
• Supporting the delivery of Team Around the School and Setting within localities
• Acting as a named district contact for Experts at Hand, connecting schools with advice and specialist support
• Using data and local intelligence to identify needs, gaps and barriers affecting children and young people
• Building relationships across education, health, SEND, children's services and partner organisations
• Developing collaborative and preventative solutions to local issues
• Monitoring demand and outcomes to inform service improvement and strategic priorities
• Delivering briefings, training and development for locality-based working across Lancashire
