Job summary

Daylesford Academy, part of the Solihull Alternative Provision Multi Academy Trust (SAPMAT), seeks an Academy Operations Manager to lead the operational, administrative and data functions, ensuring efficient and compliant school operations.

You will oversee the office, manage information governance, safeguarding administration, attendance, examinations and workforce administration, and work to continually improve service delivery across the trust.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in school operations, ideally within a secondary school environment.
• Proven track record of managing diverse teams and operational services.
• Strong knowledge of customer service, health and safety, GDPR and workforce administration.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively across a Multi-Academy Trust.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Academy's operational, administrative and data functions.
• Ensure the school operate efficiently, effectively and in full compliance with statutory and Trust requirements.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement through leadership of administration, data management, attendance systems, examinations, safeguarding administration, SEND administration, information governance and operational support services.
• Oversee the school office, ensuring high-quality services are delivered to pupils, staff, parents and external stakeholders.
