Job Title: Education Manager – Student Progress and Attainment

Location: Centre based

Salary: up to £40,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Duties
  • To lead the strategic development, monitoring and ongoing improvement of learner outcomes across our client's curriculum areas.
  • Work in partnership with the teaching and senior leadership teams, to set ambitious yet achievable academic targets.
  • Develop and coordinate targeted intervention programmes for identified groups (e.g. SEND, EAL, disadvantaged or higher prior attainers) and ensuring that outcomes are monitored to ensure effectiveness.
  • Management of assessment data to monitor progress, highlight issues and shape improvement plans.
  • Prepare regular attainment progress reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Delivery of classroom teaching as required.
  • Support and coach teaching staff towards improving and developing teaching practice through regular observations and reviews - ensuring action plans for teaching and learning are achieved.
Essential Criteria
  • Must have experience of working within a leadership or management role within education.
  • Must hold a relevant first degree and/or professional teaching qualification.
  • A strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment systems and progress tracking.
  • Must possess excellent data analysis skills.
  • Strong leadership and performance management experience and skillset.
  • Ability to inspire, lead and motivate teaching staff and learners.
